The annual economic and societal costs of traffic accidents in the United States are staggering. Each year, over 40,000 people die, and the financial costs to both businesses and individuals are in the hundreds of millions. For Americans who drive for a living, “transportation incidents” account for 43% of all workplace deaths, an average of approximately 2,485 fatalities per year. Whether you spend most of your workday driving or drive only to and from work, learning how to drive defensively could save your life.
